tried not to look at garmin much, just wanted to slip 'er into cruise control and get some base miles. turned out to be a much needed mental break, gorgeous late afternoon run along the north bayshore trail and path. This takes you behind some of the stores, hotels, shops where people are all out escaping from their cubicles and mad spouses for 15 mins to steal a smoke and a few precious rays of sun. it was oddly comforting jogging through their midst. the bay was smooth as Pineview in the morning.
